If you’re thinking of undergoing penis enlargement surgery, you may want to google and type “penis enlargement surgery lawsuits” and read about some of these lawsuits.  There are 193,000 search results so read a few before deciding to go ahead with penis enlargement surgery.

Urologists are issuing out the usual “don’t throw caution to the wind” advice and are asking males to give this serious thought.  There are other ways of enlarging one’s penis and surgery should be the last on the list, unless of course the surgery has to be done for health reasons.

To be fair, men can’t really be blamed for thinking of penis surgery because they associate a small penis with success in sexual relationships.  Most males believe that if their penises were larger, the more successful they’d be with sexual partners.  This type of vanity is not just a “male” thing.  Women too are obsessed about the size of their breasts and some won’t hesitate to have their breasts enlarged so they can be more physically attractive to the man of their dreams.  That’s just a fact of life:  men want bigger and longer penises and women want bigger breasts.  You can argue until you’re blue in the face, but that’s one of the realities that sexual therapists are constantly battling.

What Does Penis Enlargement Surgery Cover?

People agree that surgery is one way that males can achieve a permanent increase to their penis size.  The surgeon will work on the ligaments that hold the penis in position.  When the ligaments are cut, the penis goes down.  Some surgeons also recommend the use of stretchers and extenders after surgery to facilitate size increase.

Another type of penis enlargement surgery is what surgeons call a “dermal implant.”  The procedure is to take fat cells from other parts of the body and transplant them into the penis.  The risk of this dermal implant is that the cells may end up in clusters, resulting in uneven distribution.  Most surgeons hesitate to do this type of penis enlargement surgery unless they believe the end justifies the means.

Like most surgeries, penis enlargement comes with certain risks:  the appearance of the penis may not be visually appealing, tissues can be scarred, there may be some anxiety and discomfort, and the occurrence of infection.  Some have also reported experiencing a negative reaction to anesthesia.

Speak to your doctor about penis enlargement surgery.  And get a second or third opinion if possible.  Speak to individuals who had this type of surgery and ask if they’d be willing to share their thoughts pre and post surgery.
